Marney is a writer and chaplain. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in ​Colorado Review, The Harvard Advocate, Kenyon Review, West Branch, ITERANT, and elsewhere. She currently serves as the interfaith chaplain to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Marney has an MFA from New York University and an MDiv from Harvard. She grew up on Cape Cod and lives there now with her wife and two cats on land long loved and cared for by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
